After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is threatened by a strange entity. When the glass is shown at her feet, she is wearing socks. Seconds later, as he checks the door, he’s wearing lace-up shoes. Based on what happens later at a party, there are several continuity issues that might not be “mistakes”; but it may actually be deliberate to show “pauses”; in Rose’s consciousness/wisdom.. Why are you doing this to me?

The monstrosity: Because your mind is so inviting.. Paramount’s opening and closing logos have a curved line in the shape of a smile at the base of the mountain. LollipopWritten by Beverley Ross & Julius Dixon Performed by The Chordettes. Sosie Bacon stars as an incompetent therapist who mumbles platitudes and does exactly nothing while bad things happen to his patients.
It’s silly nonsense, but it’s excellently produced
After proving her inability to administer basic first aid to anyone within a fifty mile radius, she catches a case of the scares. Then the scarecrows follow her, being creepy and not doing much, perhaps as an ironic form of mockery. None of the characters, supernatural or otherwise, seem to be any good at their jobs. Decent acting, good cinematography, tight editing and engaging direction.
Worth a watch, once, just for fun
It’s a good time, despite the brainless characters, copy-paste writing, awful dialogue, and endless clichés. It’s a funny and occasionally effective bouncy horror – a highly polished turd that’s so shiny you don’t even notice the smell.
