Sister Red: I’m getting chills just thinking about it
Scenario
A detective and a nun investigate a series of heinous crimes that seem personal, while grappling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers… Ed Lachlan’s Mustang is the same color and license plate as the car in The Robbery in Italian” 2WQI332.
I didn’t think I’d like it, but I’m SO into it!!!
I can’t wait for my family (well, just my husband, because it might be too much for the kids) to watch it with me. It’s SO damn good and damn good that I’m sad there aren’t more episodes yet.
Personally, I couldn’t help but sneeze of all of that
It’s been a while since we’ve watched anything that isn’t “drinking” but this is one show I think we’ll be looking forward to every episode. As for the lead actress, I’m seeing some competing opinions here regarding her age, looks, even weight (!!!).
Her acting is pretty good
I especially like that she seems “real” and not like a copy or clone of another detective in a procedural show. I DON’T like that you have to stretch your imagination a bit to figure out why this case wasn’t handed over to a larger group, organization, or department, but the hints of surrealism help to develop the narrative that there is a good reason for this somewhere at the end of the storylines.
Plus, whoever came up with the thief’s sick mindset deserves praise (and a lot of help)
If you like it or haven’t decided yet, watch the first episode and decide for yourself whether you’re ready for what awaits you (assuming the series stays at the level of the first two episodes).
