Even Christian Slater, a great actor
Within a few minutes I completely forgot they were different actors. Obviously we can’t have all the original actors playing their younger selves after all these years. However, it’s a great starting point, his first death.
Who are they now?
They must have had to reshoot that death scene so many times because I feel like it’s pretty well balanced compared to that death scene in the original series. Of course, one could argue that the flashbacks to the original Dexter are the memories everyone is watching Dexter from. The series is based on real events, not memories, so everyone will see their counterparts looking a little different than the original.
And was anyone surprised to see Batista?
Did they find a way for the actor to go back in time? Their similarities and demeanor are pretty crazy. The younger Dexter actor also gave a really good performance.
