Julia’s Sister: Julia, I thought I said stay away from my – [Art kills him with an axe]
Scenario
Art the Clown prepares to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they sleep peacefully on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leone has stated that several major studios were interested in financing the film based on the runaway success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a full script, but he turned them all down because he was sure they would never let him do the opening scene alone, which is “very controversial”. Leone has commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his depiction of horror and gore is because he finances his films independently, creates all the special effects himself to keep costs down, and doesn’t have a major studio hanging around his neck that makes a film more mainstream. Mia mentions that the 5th anniversary of the original massacre is coming up, but it happened on Halloween and this film being set 5 years later on Christmas would mean the anniversary was only 2 months ago.
Next up is Terrifier (2016)
There is a full-length version of the film that runs 2 hours 25 minutes with 5 additional scenes. Art by Drew Fulk, Joe Occhiuti, Paul Wiley, Spencer Charnas, and Steve Sopchak Artists by Ice Nine Kills and Shavo Odadjian. Art the Clown returns in his most frightening incarnation yet in “Scary 3.” The film picks up five years after the end of the previous installment, with Art going on a murderous rampage through Miles County. Director Damien Leone has outdone himself with this gore masterpiece that delivers a truly visceral and unforgettable experience that will take your breath away.
