A few days before the show in 2022
Scenario
After witnessing a strange and traumatic incident involving a patient, the psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is threatened by a mysterious entity. on September 30, the cast of the film appeared at several baseball games, sitting behind the plate and smiling at the camera, motionless despite the audience’s understandably nervousness, while wearing Smile T-shirts. Another logo appeared in the background with the crowd during the Today show. Around the 31 minute mark, Rose breaks a glass when her alarm goes off.
Rose Cotter: Who are you?
When the cup is shown at her feet, she is wearing socks. Seconds later, she’s wearing lace-up shoes as she checks the door. Given what happens later in the party, there are some continuity issues that may not be “mistakes” but may be deliberate to show “breaks” in Rose’s consciousness/sanity. why are you doing this to me Monster: Because your mind is so seductive.
LOTS of scares and sad scenes as expected
Paramount’s opening and closing logos feature a curved smiley line at the base of the mountain. The film is featured in Chris Stuckmann’s Movie Reviews: Smile (2022). Lollipop Written by Beverley Ross and Julius Dixon Performed by The Chordettes. A little bit of original horror and a lot of “been there” which is fun for a horror junkie like me.
A weak conclusion
BUT. Literally, it feels like you’re setting up a cheesy sequel for the future. You’ll see what I mean if you’re looking for a more meaningful ending to what could have been a great ending, as this story unfolds and leads the viewer to what might drive the cause. It’s not worth the high price at the box office.
