Movie, Boy A (2007)

I went to see this movie during a free screening
I had high hopes as the two main actors are fantastic actors. I wanted to love this movie, but it just felt lame. In most movies, when something mysterious/exciting happens, there is a build-up.
You recognize the characters
You feel connected to them. In this case, there was no such accumulation. It’s hard to feel anything about what really happened.
This movie was made for Netflix, not the big screen
I’m also not a fan of movies that throw together multiple timelines that jump back and forth. Especially when there isn’t much to let you identify which timeline you’re looking at.
